We also really enjoy portrait photography. We keep these relaxed and natural, using gentle prompts that lean into the way you are together. When you look through our galleries, you’ll see couples who genuinely look like they’re enjoying each other. That’s what we aim for.

Your wedding day is one of the most meaningful days of your life, and we love capturing it with that in mind.

It’s completely personal preference. If we had to pick just one, we’d recommend photography.

That said, if your budget allows, having both is great — it gives you the full story of your day.

Photography gives you something you can hold onto: a beautiful print on the wall, a photo in your wallet or on your phone lock screen, or an album on the coffee table. Video captures the emotion and movement as it unfolds, making it a wonderful keepsake for anniversaries.

This is incredibly common — and completely normal. A lot of people feel self-conscious in front of the camera, especially on their wedding day.

We keep things relaxed and low-pressure. We won’t make you do anything that feels unnatural or uncomfortable. Most of the day we’ll just observe and capture moments as they happen. When we do take portraits, we use gentle, natural prompts and work at your pace. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable and present, not like you’re performing.

You don’t need to be “good at photos.” You just need to be yourselves.

It depends on the date, but we generally recommend reaching out 9 to 12 months ahead if you can. Spring and summer dates tend to fill up first, especially weekends and any dates with nice or repeating numbers. Booking earlier usually gives you more choice and more time to plan your day properly without feeling rushed.

The easiest way to get started is to fill out the enquiry form and tell us as much as you can about your day. We review enquiries and respond within 2–3 business days. A 25% deposit is required to secure your date.

Once your date is secured, we create a bespoke timeline and roadmap so you know exactly what’s coming and what to expect at each stage. We’re also happy to help with planning, researching vendors, or anything else that comes up if you need it. Many couples are figuring things out as they go, so we’re here to guide you through it.

Around 2–4 weeks before your date, we’ll have a Zoom call to go through the final photography timeline. By this point, things have usually settled and you’ll have a clearer idea of what you want on the day, so it’s a good time to discuss any changes and talk through photos and posing ideas.

Weddings rarely go exactly to plan — and that’s okay. We’re experienced at adapting to whatever the day brings, whether it’s running behind schedule, unexpected weather, or last-minute changes.

We’ll work with you and your celebrant or planner to adjust the timeline on the day so we can still capture the important moments without adding stress. Our priority is making sure you feel calm and looked after, not forcing things to happen a certain way.

We’re there to document your day as it unfolds, not to stick rigidly to a plan.

We deliver your photos and videos in a private online gallery, usually within 8 weeks of your wedding. You’ll have access to the gallery for two years and can download all your files at full resolution during this time.

You’ll receive an email when your gallery is ready. The files are securely backed up, and you can easily share the gallery with family and friends if you’d like.

Travel within 1.5 hours of Hobart or 1.5 hours of Yarra Valley in Victoria is included in every package. For weddings further away, additional travel costs apply. We’re happy to discuss these with you during the enquiry process so you have a clear picture upfront.
